Yes we have onsite car parking for out clients. We have parking spots 1 & 2 reserved for ChiroMotion clients. There is also ample on-street parking right in front of the building on Great South Road which is free for 60 minutes.

No, we can assess and treat without referral by a doctor.

We need to conduct an initial assessment on your first visit. On your second visit your assessment from the first visit will be presented along with a care plan.

A comprehensive history form is completed by the patients (please allow 15 minutes to complete this). If you covered by ACC, then ACC forms will also need to be completed.

We will ask specific questions to gain a more in-depth understanding of what’s holding you back from performing at your best or present symptoms you may be dealing with.
Once the history is completed, we will perform specific tests to determine which areas of your body is not functioning at its best.

Physical examination follows, where a body overview is conducted - this includes musculoskeletal, neurological and cardiovascular and respiratory system checks (if indicated) followed by posture and gait analysis to obtain a baseline for initial care.

With the information and results, we will be able to create a care plan that is unique to you and your individual needs.

Please allow 15 minutes for paperwork, and 40 minutes for the initial new patient examination.

On the second visit, our assessment will be presented and explained by the chiropractor, as well as discussing if any further tests are necessary such as x-rays etc.
We will also explain your care plan and the frequency of the visits required.

You should allow around 15 mins for each subsequent visit.

Treatment duration depends on your diagnosis, the severity of your impairments, your past medical history, and other factors. This will be discussed with you when discussing your care plan.

Generally, you wear what your are comfortable in. We can treat you in your work attire as well.

You can call us to cancel or reschedule your appointment or if you have booked online - you can simply cancel online. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we respectfully request at least 24 hours notice in line with our cancellation policy.

 

Cancellation policy

Any cancellation made less than 24 hours prior to the appointment time will result in a cancellation fee. The amount of the fee will be the total of your appointment cost. Rescheduled appointments made within the same working week will not incur a cancellation fee.
